Description

The Principal Automated Testing Developer on the SAP Platform team at National Bank acts as a Test Automation Specialist. The role involves defining QA strategies, designing and developing automated test suites, overseeing test plan design, documenting in Jira, analyzing anomalies, working with business teams for SAP testing, and evolving automation approaches.

What We're Looking For

Define the quality assurance strategy and pilot testing processes for various products.

Design and develop automated test suites using recognized tools (Selenium and/or Tosca from Tricentis).

Oversee the design of test plans, maintenance of existing cases, and documentation in Jira for traceability.

Analyze and diagnose anomalies, producing quality reports (coverage, defects, regressions).

Work with business teams to meet specific SAP testing needs and optimize integration practices.

Participate in the ongoing evolution of automation approaches (coverage, test data, simulation methods).

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a quality Assurance degree or equivalent relevant experience.

At least 5 years of experience in software quality or test automation.

Proficiency in automated testing tools, particularly Selenium and/or Tosca from Tricentis.

Understand application development cycles and agile methods.

Experience with DevOps tools and environments (GIT, GitHub, Docker, Datadog).

Understand TDD, DB and CI/CD concepts.

Ideal Candidate

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a quality Assurance degree or equivalent relevant experience.

At least 5 years of experience in software quality or test automation.

Proficiency in automated testing tools, particularly Selenium and/or Tosca from Tricentis.

Understand application development cycles and agile methods.

Experience with DevOps tools and environments (GIT, GitHub, Docker, Datadog).

Understand TDD, DB and CI/CD concepts.
