Description

The successful candidate will support the management committee of the sustainable investment team. They will contribute to various value-creation projects across different asset classes at La Caisse, as well as to the sustainable investment team's strategy.

What We're Looking For

Support management committee members in developing nuanced recommendations on complex or unusual issues, considering the organizational context.,Actively contribute to the development and deployment of sustainable investment positions and strategies.,Support Sustainable Investment Business Partners in identifying engagement and influence opportunities in sustainability with portfolio companies based on their maturity and ambition.,Participate in strategic and operational support for portfolio companies and collaborate with the investment team to identify strategies and action plans to seize opportunities.,Participate in the preparation and coordination of internal and external reporting on sustainable investment matters.,Participate in the preparation of internal reports according to established deadlines and policies.,Conduct ad hoc analyses on ESG issues and themes.,Participate in any project where their expertise is required.,Prepare strategic-level presentation documents.

Ideal Candidate

University degree in business administration, finance, sustainable finance, or a related field.,An equivalent combination of training and relevant experience will also be considered.,Significant professional experience (approximately 6 to 8 years) in roles related to sustainable finance, strategic consulting (e.g., sustainability strategies, energy transition plans), or comparable environments.,Good understanding of sustainability issues and disclosure frameworks (e.g., ISSB, SASB, TCFD), or demonstrated ability to quickly master these concepts.,Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a transactional, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.,Comfort working in influencing contexts, in collaboration with stakeholders of different seniority levels.,Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to structure clear and impactful messages (presentations, executive documents), with a professional demeanor.,Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and ability to approach complex problems with creativity, pragmatism, and adaptability.
