Description

The successful candidate will support the Senior Director, Thematic and Emerging Risk Management, within the Sustainability team. This role involves contributing to the monitoring, analysis, and quantification of sustainability risks across portfolios, working closely with internal teams and partners. Key areas of focus include tracking and updating sustainability risk mapping, deploying mitigation plans for at-risk assets, quantifying sustainability risks (especially climate-related), and monitoring risky transactions. Expertise in biodiversity is considered an asset.

What We're Looking For

Ensure regular monitoring and updating of sustainability risk mapping for all portfolios.,Identify at-risk assets and propose mitigation plans in collaboration with investment teams.,Contribute to the quantification of sustainability risks using specialized physical risk assessment tools and conducting bottom-up and top-down analyses.,Develop sectoral and geographical sensitivity maps to guide portfolio allocation.,Analyze transactions from a sustainability perspective.,Maintain regular contact with transactional risk teams, subject matter experts, investment teams, and Sustainable Investment.,Participate in monitoring specific sustainability-related projects (e.g., climate, water stress, pollution, biodiversity), collaborating with Sustainable Investment teams on monitoring biodiversity-related risks and opportunities.,Prepare presentation documents and contribute to internal reports according to established deadlines and policies.

Ideal Candidate

University degree (first or second cycle) in business administration, finance, risk management, sustainability, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of training and relevant experience will also be considered.,Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: risk management, sustainability (including environmental and biodiversity issues), ESG analysis.,Ability to effectively operate in a transactional environment, collaborate with various stakeholders, and interact with individuals at different seniority levels; knowledge of the infrastructure sector is an asset.,Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to design clear and structured presentations (PowerPoint), with a high level of professionalism.
