The Senior Internal Auditor plays a key role within the Internal Audit team, conducting audits of CDPQ and its subsidiary CDPQ Infra's processes. They act as a senior reference, lead and actively participate in audit work, and provide high-value recommendations to reduce risks, improve efficiency, and support business objectives. Using their knowledge, rigor, and professional judgment, they evaluate the governance, effectiveness, and efficiency of audited processes, and help teams align around concrete and sustainable solutions.
Independently conduct audit engagements to assess governance, ability to achieve business objectives, and controls of CDPQ and its subsidiary CDPQ Infra, and formulate recommendations adapted to identified issues.,Plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements with an agile approach, defining detailed steps, scope, objectives, and criteria.,Develop the audit program, and with the team, execute audit procedures, analyze processes and controls of audited activities, ensure adequate documentation of work and results to support findings.,Validate observations and recommendations with audited sector managers, draft clear and concise audit reports, assist auditees in developing action plans, and monitor their implementation.,Collaborate with other lines of defense of the organizations, as well as with external auditors.,Contribute to the evolution of internal audit practices, notably through the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence, and provide expertise to various consulting and special projects.,Contribute to the development of the audit plan and accountability reporting.
University degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, administration),Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or external audit, ideally in the financial sector, with a strong component in process audit.,Ability to leverage artificial intelligence and analytical tools to support continuous improvement and transformation of internal audit practices.,Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite.,Knowledge of data analysis and visualization software.,Mastery of French and a good knowledge of English, both oral and written.,Recognized professional designation or title (CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM, etc.) is an asset.
