Description

The Portfolio Manager within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 team is a senior subject-matter expert in credit analysis and complex real estate financing structuring. This role involves supporting Account Managers in structuring, negotiating, and managing risks for large-scale or highly complex transactions, while maintaining portfolio quality and supporting informed credit decision-making through experience in real estate dynamics and commercial financing.

What We're Looking For

Take charge of complex aspects of portfolios (analyze files, prepare financing offers and offer letters, conduct negotiations) with account managers.,Negotiate financing terms with the credit department.,Negotiate financing terms with customers and prospects from time to time.,Assist in the implementation, renewal, and review of complex files with account managers.,Review expert documents (cost and environmental consultants, lawyers, SCHL contacts).,Review prerequisites prior to disbursements.,Ensure that the quality of the portfolio is maintained.,Identify risks inherent in the sector's activities.

Ideal Candidate

A bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, OR a master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.,Experience in real estate financing.,Relevant experience in commercial credit.,Experience in customer service and negotiation.,Experience in business development is an asset.,Knowledge of products and services for businesses.
