This role involves assisting Investment Counsellors with portfolio management tasks, maintaining knowledge of investment solutions, tax, and financial planning, drafting Investment Policy Statements and client correspondence, and preparing investment review presentations. The assistant will also handle administrative functions, track compliance, manage cash holdings, provide training, and respond to client inquiries.
Assist with the modelling, monitoring, and rebalancing of portfolios,
Input trades, when required,
Maintain all administrative functions (database management, mass mailings, preparation of presentation/meeting materials, correspondence, managing reports, spreadsheets, special projects),
Proactively identify client annual reviews and compile manager review schedules,
Ensure compliance to client mandate and portfolio models,
Track and manage cash holdings and balances,
Provide training/mentorship to new employees, as required,
Back-up to other positions, as needed,
Respond to various client inquiries
University degree in related field,
Level I (or any higher level) of the CFA Program administered by the CFA Institute and/or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation
