Description

The TD Wealth Management Planning team offers personalized financial advice, solutions, and services to clients by understanding their financial objectives. The role involves building long-term relationships with affluent clients, providing comprehensive financial planning, and contributing to team and department goals through excellent customer service and business development. This position is for experienced professionals in wealth planning and client advisory services.

What We're Looking For

Determine clients' financial objectives and lifestyle, provide comprehensive assessments, and build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise, relationship building, and ongoing service delivery.,Conduct relevant analyses, produce reports, and draw conclusions from results; formulate recommendations and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices.,Contribute to team and department objectives by strengthening customer service quality and demonstrating dedication.,Oversee service and productivity; assess effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.,Be knowledgeable of best practices and procedures and stay updated on new trends.,Acquire specialized knowledge and use it to provide mentorship, assistance, and guidance.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control supported by a balanced risk appetite.,Participate fully as a team member and promote a positive, service-oriented work environment.

Ideal Candidate

Financial Planner diploma from the Institut de planification financière (Institute of Financial Planning) before the start date.,Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) before the start date.,Three to five years of experience in the banking sector.,IIROC accreditation (or obtain accreditation within 90 days of the start date) - Useful.,Successful completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) within 90 days of the start date - Useful.,Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course within 30 months of starting - Useful.,In-depth understanding of the environment, competitors, and economic/market issues - Useful.,Excellent communication skills for teamwork and autonomous work, providing support, and building relationships - Useful.

Minimum Education

Financial Planner Diploma (e.g., Bachelor's Degree equivalent in financial planning)
