Description

This role involves providing a high level of client service, responding to various inquiries, and delivering a 'gold standard' client experience. Key responsibilities include administrative support to Investment Advisors or teams, preparing documentation for client meetings, creating reports, and communicating with clients to offer guidance on products and services. The associate is expected to adhere to policies and procedures, maintain risk management, and identify referral opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Deliver a 'gold standard' client experience at every interaction,Prioritize and handle own work, consistently exercising discretion,Adhere to all policies and procedures and maintain a culture and operation of risk management,Utilize insights for continuous improvement of individual and team performance,Create reports for analysis of client accounts,Communicate with customers to provide mentorship on products and services,Identify and manage referral opportunities, ensuring correct coding administration,Submit marketing materials for approval, compile client information packages, and maintain marketing resources,Familiarity with and adherence to compliance requirements, including account documentation,Provide dedicated specialized administrative support to Investment Advisors or teams,Correspond with clients and other branch staff,Provide functional specialized business services, advisory, and process/program support,Assist Investment Advisors in building integrated and customized client solutions,Build relationships with existing clients, IA Bank branches, and other referral sources,Participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process; organize client seminars/events,Match clients to products and services in a professional and consistent manner,Monitor service quality and productivity; implement continuous improvement,Keep current on emerging trends and inform others on work status,Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive professional environment

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred,Required to be licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO),1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles, or related fields,Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset,Knowledge of investment products is an asset,Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) desirable
