The Personal Financial Advisor (PFA) I operates from a centralized hub, engaging remotely with Mass Affluent clients to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term goals. This role involves recommending personalized investment and insurance solutions, acquiring new clients through various sources, and maintaining existing relationships by providing ongoing advice, planning, and daily account servicing. The PFA acts as a fiduciary, ensuring client interests are prioritized, conducting regular reviews, and adhering to all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Analyze client's financial information to determine appropriate investment and insurance strategies and products.
Build and maintain a client base by acquiring new clients and keeping existing client information up to date.
Meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
Proficiently use Fin-Tech software to track client engagement and provide advice.
Ensure complete client onboarding, including thorough discovery, financial needs analysis, and all requisite documentation.
Implement a process for Annual Client Review (ACR) meetings focused on overall wealth needs and proactive contacts.
Serve as a central sales and planning point of contact for TD Mass Affluent clients without a local Financial Advisor relationship.
Anticipate client's needs and suggest appropriate Wealth solutions.
Execute all duties in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
Adhere to all federal, state, and SRO regulations and Firm policies.
Attain all Continuing Education requirements.
Implement TD’s Customer Identification Program (CIP) and perform Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence.
Uncover client assets and transition higher threshold clients to appropriate HNW Wealth partners.
Contribute to a positive work environment and support the overall Wealth team, including mentoring new FAs.
Represent TD Wealth professionally to the general public and support TDBG charity and community initiatives.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Valid and active Series S65 required (or obtained within an allotted time period); candidates without Series 65 must have 2+ years of relatable work experience.
Valid and active Life & Health insurance license required (or obtained within an allotted time period).
Understanding of wealth management business development techniques, products, services, and overall industry.
Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking and interacting with Mass Affluent and HNW clients.
Consultative sales experience preferred.
Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments.
Must be eligible for employment under standards established by FINRA.
Subject to FINRA Rule 3110(e) investigation and verification requirements.
Satisfactory results on criminal background check, credit report check, civil litigation search, and regulatory agency or self-regulatory organization enforcement action search.
