Personal Banking Associate Trainee (Full time)- Gatineau, Buckingham

Description

This role at TD Canada Trust involves being a frontline associate, building strong relationships with clients, and assisting them with various customer service operations. Responsibilities include providing information and advice on services, products, and solutions, understanding client needs, and directing them to appropriate team members or internal partners for financial advice, new accounts, investment advice, and banking solutions. The position also involves engaging clients in conversations about current banking trends, supporting frontline staff with transactions, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with business processes and ethical conduct.

What We're Looking For

Engage with clients on advice, routine banking, service transactions, digital service information, and problem resolution related to banking solutions.,Understand client needs and direct them to the appropriate person for relevant solutions, exercising good judgment in confidential matters.,Instill client confidence in new digital banking options, including mobile banking, ATMs, and online banking.,Support frontline staff with scheduled transactions, cash and non-cash related operations; resolve major issues and report exceptions to management.,Recommend improvements to work practices, branch operations, and processes to enhance client experience and achieve operational excellence.,Participate in the accurate and timely use of business processes and procedures.,Ensure prepared documents are accurate, reflect business intentions, and comply with relevant regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.,Contribute to creating a positive and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness, participating in individual performance and development, and sharing industry knowledge to achieve a common goal.

Ideal Candidate

High School Diploma and/or at least one year of relevant experience.,Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) Course or equivalent – within 6 months of appointment.,Post-secondary degree or undergraduate university degree (in a related field) an asset.,Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), branch software, and Internet.
