Description

The Personal Banking Associate at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, providing financial advice, and guiding customers to appropriate banking solutions. This role involves engaging with customers for service transactions, educating them on digital banking trends, supporting frontline staff, resolving issues, and contributing to operational improvements to ensure a positive customer experience within the branch environment.

What We're Looking For

Engage customers in daily advice, service transactions, and digital education.

Resolve customer problems related to banking solutions.

Understand customer needs and direct them to the correct contact person for solutions.

Exercise good judgment in confidential matters.

Build customer confidence in digital banking (mobile, ATM, online).

Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions.

Resolve critical issues and report non-standard matters to management.

Recommend improvements to work practices, branch operations, and processes.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.

Ensure documentation is accurate, reflects business intentions, and complies with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Help build a positive and equitable work environment, promoting team effectiveness and personal performance development.

Ideal Candidate

High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.

Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – post-appointment within 6 months.

Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred.

Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.

Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.

Minimum Education

High School diploma (minimum), Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (preferred)
