Description

The Personal Banking Associate at TD Canada Trust is a front-line role focused on building strong client relationships. Responsibilities include handling customer service operations, providing information and advice on banking products and solutions, understanding client needs, and directing them to appropriate specialists for financial requests like new accounts and investment advice. The role also involves promoting digital banking options and contributing to a positive customer experience and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

Engage clients on advice needs, routine banking, digital services, and problem resolution.,Understand client needs and direct them to appropriate personnel for financial solutions, including new accounts and investment advice, exercising good judgment for confidential matters.,Instill confidence in clients regarding new digital banking trends, promoting mobile banking, ATMs, and online services.,Support front-line staff with planned transactions (cash and non-cash), resolve major issues, and report exceptions to management.,Recommend improvements to branch work practices, operations, and processes to enhance client experience and achieve operational excellence.,Participate in the accurate and timely use of business processes and procedures.,Ensure prepared documents are accurate, reflect business intentions, and comply with relevant regulations and TD Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.,Contribute to a positive and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness, participating in individual performance and development, and sharing industry knowledge to achieve a common goal.

Ideal Candidate

High School Diploma,At least one year of relevant experience,Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course or equivalent (to be completed within 6 months of appointment),Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate university degree (in a related field) – an asset
