Personal Banker Trainee

Description

The Personal Banker Trainee at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building strong customer relationships by understanding their financial goals and providing tailored advice on investment and credit banking solutions. This role involves performing customer service transactions, promoting products and services, conducting financial reviews, and ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Trainees will also stay informed on industry regulations and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions, including investment and credit banking options.,Engage with customers to understand their needs and create positive experiences to foster loyalty.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff regarding customer issues.,Maintain professional common areas in line with marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Provide financial reviews, portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions to customers.,Stay updated on emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Participate in process improvement opportunities to protect organizational interests.,Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documentation adheres to regulations and reflects business intentions.,Participate as a team member, foster a positive and diverse work environment, and assist/mentor others.,High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma; Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree is an asset

Special Commitments
