The Personal Banker Trainee position at TD Canada Trust focuses on building strong customer relationships by providing financial advice on investment and credit banking solutions. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their financial needs, offering personalized advice to improve financial confidence, and acting as a point of contact for customer issues. What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from investment and credit banking options.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships by asking thoughtful financial questions.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns while maintaining confidentiality.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas according to guidelines.,Provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions for existing and prospective customers.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct, and participate in process improvements.,Strive to achieve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with regulations and business intentions.,Participate as a team member, foster a positive work environment, assist and mentor others, and address communication issues.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts in order to provide personalized advice to customers in a fast-paced work environment
