Description

The Personal Banker Trainee at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building strong customer relationships, providing financial planning advice, and promoting investment and credit banking solutions. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their financial needs, offering personalized advice, and ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. The trainee will also support frontline staff, maintain professional standards, and participate in team activities to foster a positive and diverse work environment.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of available investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers by asking thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized financial advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct, and participate in process improvement.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, and assist/mentor others.,Mobility within the assigned district is required upon completion of the training program, potentially involving geographic relocation.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.

Minimum Education
