Description

The Personal Banker Trainee at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building strong customer relationships, providing financial advice on investment and credit banking solutions, and promoting customer loyalty. This role involves understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities for product and service promotion, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The trainee will also provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions based on financial goals, while staying informed on industry regulations and participating in process improvements. The position emphasizes achieving service level agreements and productivity targets, and contributing to a positive and diverse work environment.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from available investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships by asking thoughtful financial questions.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized financial advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns while maintaining confidentiality.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work closely with existing and prospective customers for financial reviews, portfolio updates, and personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct; participate in process improvement.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with regulations and business intentions.,Participate as a team member, foster a positive and diverse work environment, assist and mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.

Special Commitments
