Description

The Personal Banker Trainee at TD Canada Trust focuses on building strong customer relationships by providing financial advice on services, products, and solutions. This role involves assisting customers with financial goals, understanding investment options, and ensuring a positive customer experience while identifying opportunities to promote additional products and services. The trainee will also act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer issues and maintaining compliance with regulations.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice and answering questions.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work with customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations.,Participate as a team member, build a positive work environment, and assist/mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.
