Description

The Personal Banker Trainee will build strong customer relationships, offer financial guidance, and help clients achieve their financial goals. This involves providing personalized advice, addressing customer inquiries, and promoting suitable products and services while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The role also includes supporting frontline staff, upholding professional standards, staying updated on regulations, and meeting service level targets.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions, including investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in customer problem-solving.,Maintain professional spaces according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Conduct financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions.,Stay informed about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure document preparation aligns with regulations and business intentions.,Participate as a team member, foster a positive work environment, and assist/mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts.

Minimum Education

High school diploma (Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree is an asset)
