Description

This role at TD Canada Trust involves building strong customer relationships by providing personalized financial advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities include advising on investment and credit banking options, fostering positive customer experiences, increasing financial confidence, and acting as a key point of contact for both customers and frontline staff. The Personal Banker will also conduct financial reviews, suggest tailored solutions, stay updated on industry regulations, and contribute to team success.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from available investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest additional personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Participate in process improvement opportunities.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, and assist/mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts.,Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications.,Tactful communicator.,A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
