Personal Banker

Description

As a Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust, you will connect with customers to help them achieve their financial goals by providing financial planning advice and exploring investment options. You will engage with customers to build and deepen relationships, offer personalized financial advice, and act as a point of contact for frontline staff regarding customer issues. The role also involves maintaining professional branch areas, conducting financial reviews, staying updated on regulations, and participating in process improvements while striving for service level agreements and productivity targets. You will also contribute to a positive and diverse work environment and assist team members.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships by asking thoughtful financial questions.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Participate in process improvement opportunities.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, and assist/mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.
