Description

The Personal Banker role at TD Canada Trust focuses on building strong customer relationships by understanding financial goals and providing expert advice on investment and credit banking solutions. This involves offering personalized financial guidance, addressing customer concerns, promoting products and services, and acting as a primary contact for frontline staff regarding customer issues. The individual is also responsible for meeting service level agreements and productivity targets, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all interactions.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions and a range of investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences, retain, and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized financial advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest additional personalized solutions.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Participate in process improvement opportunities.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, willingly assist and mentor others, and address communication issues efficiently.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.
