Description
This role at TD Canada Trust involves building strong customer relationships by providing financial advice and solutions. The Personal Banker helps customers achieve their financial goals by understanding their needs, offering suitable investment and credit banking solutions, and ensuring a positive experience. Key responsibilities include customer engagement, financial planning expertise, and promoting customer loyalty and investment returns while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. The role also requires acting as a point of contact for frontline staff and contributing to a positive team environment.
What We're Looking For
Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from available investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice and addressing concerns.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest additional personalized solutions based on customer financial goals.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct.,Participate in process improvement opportunities to protect the organization's interests.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, and assist/mentor others.
Ideal Candidate
High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts.
