Description

The Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust is responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships, executing customer service transactions, and offering financial guidance on various products and solutions. This role involves actively engaging with customers to understand their financial aspirations, delivering tailored financial planning advice, and aiding them in achieving their goals through investment and credit banking options, all while upholding confidentiality and accuracy. Additionally, the Personal Banker serves as a key contact for frontline staff regarding customer issues, maintains professional standards, keeps abreast of industry regulations, and fosters a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on a range of financial solutions, including investment and credit banking.,Engage with customers to build and deepen relationships.,Provide personalized financial advice and address customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary.,Act as a primary contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Ensure professional presentation of common areas in line with marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Conduct financial reviews, provide portfolio updates, and suggest additional personalized solutions based on customer financial goals.,Stay informed about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct, and participate in process improvement initiatives.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Prepare documents in accordance with relevant regulations and business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, contribute to a positive and diverse work environment, and mentor others.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, and banking solutions.,Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset.

Minimum Education

High school diploma; Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.
