Description

The Personal Banker role at TD Canada Trust focuses on building strong customer relationships by providing financial advice and solutions. This involves understanding customer needs, promoting relevant products and services, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Bankers are expected to offer high-level financial planning advice, particularly regarding investment and credit solutions, to foster customer loyalty and optimize returns. The role requires engaging with customers to create positive experiences, increasing their financial confidence, and acting as a point of contact for frontline staff on customer issues. Additionally, Personal Bankers maintain professional standards, stay updated on industry regulations, work towards service level agreements, and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking options.,Engage with customers to build and deepen relationships by asking thoughtful financial questions.,Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns while maintaining confidentiality.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff regarding customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Provide financial reviews, portfolio updates, and personalized solutions to existing and prospective customers.,Stay informed about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct, and participate in process improvement.,Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents comply with regulations and reflect business intentions.,Participate as a team member, foster a positive and diverse work environment, assist and mentor others, and efficiently address communication issues.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field (asset).,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience (asset).,Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, and banking solutions.
