The Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building strong customer relationships by performing various customer service transactions, providing financial advice on services, products, and solutions, and identifying opportunities to promote additional offerings. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, offering personalized financial guidance, and ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Advise customers on high-level financial solutions, including investment and credit banking solutions.
Engage with customers to create positive experiences and deepen relationships through thoughtful financial questions.
Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice and addressing concerns.
Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.
Maintain professional common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.
Provide financial reviews, portfolio updates, and suggest personalized solutions to customers.
Stay informed about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.
Participate in process improvement opportunities.
Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.
Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations.
Participate as a team member, foster a positive and diverse work environment, and mentor others.
High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience
Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset
Completion of IFIC or equivalent required
CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset
