Description

The Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust is responsible for building strong customer relationships by providing a range of customer service transactions, offering information and advice on banking products and solutions, and identifying opportunities to refer customers to appropriate team members. This role involves advising customers on financial solutions, providing personalized financial advice, and assisting with investment options to promote customer loyalty and investment returns.

What We're Looking For

Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from available investment and credit banking solutions.,Engage with customers and create positive experiences to retain and deepen relationships by asking thoughtful financial questions.,Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized financial advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.,Act as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.,Maintain professional space in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines.,Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest additional personalized solutions based on their financial goals.,Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct; participate in process improvement opportunities.,Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.,Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and reflect business intentions.,Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, assist and mentor others, and address communication issues efficiently.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.,Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.,Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.,CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.,Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset.

Minimum Education

High school diploma; Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset.

Hard Skills

Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts.
Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications.
Financial planning advice expertise.
