Lightspeed Commerce Inc. is seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to join their Montreal team. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture functions, ensuring efficiency and organization. The coordinator will assist People Business Partners, Payroll & Benefits, and People Ops teams with complete employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and reporting. The position involves supporting a team of 30 people in North America and focuses on the well-being of the company's employees.

What We're Looking For

Own employee lifecycle support and administration for a specific region (new hire paperwork, employee onboarding, role/salary changes, employee profile updates, time off management, leaves and terminations), including documentation preparation, tracking, processing, and electronic record-keeping.,Work with multiple stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, external auditors) to ensure global compliance and proper employee lifecycle management.,Coordinate employee programs such as training, recognition, DEI, volunteering, and wellness programs.,Assist employees with questions about Lightspeed Policies and general inquiries.,Perform audits on system information/contents to ensure data integrity, maintain strict confidentiality, and build internal control mechanisms.,Create and iterate documentation for current and future-state people processes and workflows connected to the employee lifecycle, people data, systems, and technology.,Identify, recommend, and proactively initiate process and workflow improvements to support growth goals.,Provide general administrative support to the People team and take on special People projects as needed.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in HR, Administration or Executive Assistant roles,University degree in Human Resources or related discipline,Experience with Canadian & US compliance and employment laws
