Payment Transaction Control Officer

Description

The Payment Transaction Control Officer at Royal Bank of Canada is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all payment and transfer transactions initiated through Electronic Funds Transfer, RBC Express, and RBC Edge Systems. This role involves obtaining necessary approvals, coordinating currency conversions with the Trade FX Desk, and mitigating operational, financial, and reputational risks through efficient workflow management.

What We're Looking For

Provide high levels of service and support to a global client base, consistently meeting measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).,Carry out critical responsibilities related to various EFT/RBC Express functions, including Account Manager Approval, handling possible duplicate transfers, repairing missing credit/bank information, account validation, repairing missing contract numbers, repairing invalid client FX numbers, and managing PVR2/RFX availability.,Ensure operational, financial, and reputational risk is mitigated through workflow prioritization and awareness of various cut-off times.,Cancel payments and advise clients of processing issues due to incomplete information, following established procedures.,Contact Credit Transaction Management (CTM) and/or Account Managers for approvals when daily transactional limits are exceeded.,Manage daily booked foreign exchange transactions and prepare manual entries as required.,Ensure all required fields on EFT Express are completed and properly formatted.,Verify and act as a backup in updating EDI Transactional Risk upon Account Manager Approval.
