Laura Canada is seeking a Patternmaker to join their team. This role involves designing and developing garment patterns that are balanced, proportional, and meet company standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with Technical Designers and the Production Team, ensuring the feasibility and accurate execution of apparel designs for the Laura and Melanie Lyne brands.

What We're Looking For

Examine Technical Designer's sketches for feasibility and provide feedback.,Design balanced, proportional, and executable patterns that meet Laura Canada standards, ensuring all details (e.g., pleats, pockets) are included.,Write specification sheets and sewing guidelines for each sample.,Ensure produced samples match the pattern and original sketch.,Make appropriate corrections to styles.,Finalize Tech-Packs for imported styles, identifying measuring points and providing basic measurements for style and fabrics.,Verify preproduction and TOP samples, reporting and recording necessary corrections on Tech-Packs.,Ensure all required corrections from previous verifications are implemented on new samples.,Be responsible for producing styles and delivering them to the Production Team within lead time.,Respect the approval ratio and achieve monthly objectives for designed patterns.,Keep the workflow list up-to-date at all times.

Ideal Candidate

Fashion Design Diploma or diploma in garment techniques.,5 years’ experience in pattern design for ladies’ apparel.,Proficient knowledge of PAD system.
