The Palletizer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated case packing and palletizing equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role involves physical product hand-stacking, accurate data entry, equipment adjustments, and adherence to safety and food quality procedures.
Safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including automated case packing and palletizing.,Perform physical product hand-stacking (palletizing) according to defined patterns.,Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) without deviation.,Generate pallet identification labels and verify case quantity, product, ID, and production dates.,Accurate data entry into ERP system (SAP).,Validate product codes.,Verify and record accurate product case quantities.,Identify and communicate out-of-specification product conditions.,Operate a forklift to transfer product from palletizing to finished goods warehouse.,Coordinate with packaging and warehouse teams for inventory accuracy.,Perform routine equipment adjustments, change-overs, clean-up, and set-up.,Perform environmental controls.,Perform product reclaim and rework operations.,Support internal and external audits.,Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures, GMP's, and Food Safety requirements.,Cross-train with other departments.,Maintain good housekeeping.,Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations.,Adhere to Saputo Code of Ethics, Company Values, and Workplace Climate Policy.,Work collaboratively with co-workers and other department personnel.
Strong math skills.,Good attendance.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels, and mechanical operations.,Ability to obtain a forklift certification (classes I-V, including pallet trucks).,Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications (a plus, but not required).,Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
12 hour shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Wednesday 6am-6:30pm
