Packaging Tailoff- 2nd Shift
Description
The role involves performing all duties related to the tail-off position for both bulk and individual wrap lines. This includes managing totes, pallets, lids, operating scales, computers, and printers for bulk lines, and using tapers, label aires, case erectors, and computers (Scale Fusion) for individual wrap lines. The individual will also be responsible for operating a handheld SAP scanner, stacking cheese cases at a specified rate, occasionally lifting empty pallets, and documenting the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). Maintaining accurate records, ensuring package integrity, and adhering to labeling and coding procedures are also key. The position requires following all Safety, GMP, and SOP policies, maintaining a clean work area, interacting with warehouse drivers, and performing other assigned duties.
What We're Looking For
Ability to perform all job duties of tail off position for bulk and individual wrap lines.,Manage totes, pallets, lids for bulk lines.,Operate Scales, Computers and printers related to bulk lines.,Maintain complete, accurate records.,Observe and correct package integrity failures.,Use correct labeling and coding procedures.,Operate Tapers, Label Aires, Scales, Case Erector, Computers (Scale Fusion) for individual wrap lines.,Operation of handheld SAP scanner - Scanning pallets & labels.,Stack cases of cheese at a rate of 8 per minutes or at the rate of 11 per minute.,Occasionally lift and place empty pallets.,Document Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).,Follow all Safety, GMP and SOP policies.,Keep area clean and tidy.,Interact with warehouse drivers to achieve department throughput.,Perform other duties as assigned.
