This active role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse to handle, sort, scan, and organize packages for delivery. Employees will unload freight, operate handling equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position is part of a team effort to ensure efficient last-mile logistics.
Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests,Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors,Use power/manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed sort lines (mandatory training/certification provided),Organize the sort setup according to the sort plan,Sort, scan, and handle parcels as per the sort plan,Operate technology and handheld devices for sorting, scanning, and preparing orders,Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul team,Stage sorted freight in the designated load-out area,Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors,Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages,Validate scanned and sorted freight for sorting efficiency,Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections,Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg,Work in a fast-paced warehouse setting with shift-based schedules,Minimum of 3 days per week availability (2 weekdays + 1 weekend)
