Outbound Sales Development Representative

Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Outbound Sales Development Representative to join their North American Outbound Sales team. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for enterprise retail clients, acting as the initial point of contact, and helping empower retailers. The ideal candidate will be driven, strategic, energetic, and passionate about assisting larger retail businesses in their growth within a fast-growing outbound team.

What We're Looking For

Proactively prospect enterprise retail accounts using phone, email, social media, and other outbound channels.,Engage with enterprise-level stakeholders to understand their challenges and build strong relationships.,Collaborate with Account Executives for seamless lead handoff and strategic follow-up.,Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams to refine outbound strategies based on prospect conversations.,Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual outbound sales goals in a high-velocity environment.

Ideal Candidate

2–5 years of experience in SaaS outbound sales, preferably with enterprise or mid-market retail clients.,Proven ability to cold-call, email, and engage enterprise stakeholders in complex sales cycles.,Strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of explaining complex solutions to multiple stakeholders.,Tech-savvy, strategic, and comfortable navigating enterprise accounts.,Entrepreneurial mindset, bias toward action, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-growing business.,Fluency in English as a working language (required due to global company with clients outside Quebec).,Experience selling into enterprise retail clients (preferred).,Familiarity with POS systems or other software platforms in large organizations (preferred).,Experience with consultative selling approaches such as MEDDPICC or BANT (preferred).
