ORM Lead Business Insights Specialist, Stress Testing & Scenario Analysis

Description

This role involves leading the Operational Risk Management (ORM) stress testing and scenario analysis program. It requires advanced quantitative modeling and managing regulatory governance, acting as an advisor to business leaders by providing analytical support and generating insights to drive business growth.

What We're Looking For

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the ORM Stress Testing Program, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.,Manage the execution of US Regulatory (DFAST, CCAR) and Canadian Regulatory (OSFI MST) stress tests, as well as internal and ad-hoc requests.,Lead the development and implementation of the Scenario Analysis program.,Aid in the development and execution of methodologies, procedures, and documentation for operational risk stress testing.,Partner with stakeholders including Model Development, Model Validation, ORM Internal Loss Event Data team, Enterprise Capital Stress Testing, US CCAR Governance team, Finance, Regulators, and External Consultants.,Utilize Python for large datasets and apply modeling techniques (LDA, Regression Modeling, Scenario Analysis) for loss forecasting.,Design and deploy Power Automate flows for data collection and approval workflows.,Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize stress test results and scenario impacts.,Interpret complex business issues, generate insights, and identify opportunities for business growth.,Present and communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders.,Act as primary interface to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs.,Manage relationships with internal and external business partners and ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience in stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), operational risk modeling, or capital planning.,Experience with OSFI (Canada) regulatory requirements is a strong asset, in addition to US Fed requirements.,Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Statistics, Economics, Data Science) preferred.,Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science).,7+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted.,Proven ability to manage regulatory relationships and defend methodologies to Model Validation and Audit.,Strong leadership skills to oversee a focused team of professionals.

Minimum Education

Master's Degree preferred (quantitative discipline) or Undergraduate/Advanced Technical Degree with 7+ years experience
