Operator, Skilled Production (2nd Shift)

Follow established department GMP's, SOP's and batch record instructions,Troubleshoot equipment shortfalls/failures and perform minor repairs,Perform hourly checks to monitor material flow and instrument readings,Properly organize and secure stored material for shipping,Operate Protein Dryer,Collect samples of powder and liquids for analysis,Maintain correct dryer CIP procedures,Communicate with evaporator operators and baggers on a timely basis,Keep records of whey products being dried and non-conformities,Maintain work area clean and orderly, follow standard Sanitation Operating Procedures,Maintain an effective audit ready program,Support SQF by maintaining food safety,Properly control the automated process of filling bags and sling totes with product,Document exact operating results at definite times of the production process,Attend various mandatory safety and departmental meetings,Communicate in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team,Assist other personnel as needed and perform other duties essential to the department

Experience in Dairy Manufacturing Environment preferred,Ability to develop relationships and influence through strong customer orientation,Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills,Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good time management and organizational skills,Ability to work flexible hours,Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
