Operations Specialist I - Security Reference Data

Description

As an Operations Specialist I in the Security Reference Data team at RBC, you will be responsible for setting up new securities on the Broadridge System to ensure all trades are processed accurately and timely, while also meeting regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong focus on detail and problem-solving skills, positioning you as a subject matter expert in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Analyze multiple data elements of fixed income securities in Broadridge systems using various vendor sources like Bloomberg, ICE, and DTC.,Set up new securities on Broadridge systems to ensure accurate financial and regulatory trading.,Develop in-depth knowledge of fixed income security structures.,Provide accurate analysis and processing support for complex, exception-based, and highly specialized operations processes.,Accurately review, verify, and record data into department technology systems.,Understand department procedures and accountabilities, referring to manuals for instructions.,Liaise and provide customer service for research, problem resolution, or information requests from internal RBC Business Units, external customers, or industry participants.,Address escalated questions independently, seeking assistance from Team Lead/Manager when necessary.,Suggest process changes and system modifications to reduce risk or increase efficiencies.,Participate in testing and implementation of new systems and processes.,Train and act as a resource for other Operations team members.,Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) OR High School Diploma with 3 years job-related experience
