Operations Associate II- Incoming Manual Transfer

Description

This role as an Operations Associate II focuses on providing processing and customer service for complex, exception-based operations. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and recording data into technology systems, researching and resolving information requests from various internal and external stakeholders, and addressing escalated questions. The role also involves managing risk through operational reviews and adherence to procedures.

What We're Looking For

Provide accurate processing support for standardized and/or manual processes within a specific Operations department.

Accurately review, verify and/or record data into technology supporting department processes.

Understand department procedures and required accountabilities in the area or department.

Liaise and provide customer service support for individuals requiring research, problem resolution, or securing information from other Operation's departments, RBC Business Units, external customers or industry participants.

Address escalated questions independently; seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures.

Reduce risk by suggesting process changes or modifications as appropriate.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of job-related experience (Must-have).

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (Must-have).

4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field (Nice-to-have).

1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience (Nice-to-have).
