Online Release Lead

Description

This role involves providing operational service and support, including environment management, maintenance, monitoring, performance, incident management, and production support for technology systems. The lead will ensure application availability, schedule new application releases, improve production environment stability, and provide day-to-day support by resolving production issues and managing incidents. Key responsibilities also include collaborating with stakeholders, identifying optimization opportunities, adhering to standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Service applications/systems and ensure high operational availability.,Partner with stakeholders to schedule packaging and release new applications efficiently.,Improve production environment stability through monitoring and maintenance.,Provide day-to-day support, including problem identification and timely resolution of production issues.,Handle incident management effectively, communicating with clients during outages.,Ensure timely notification and escalation of potential issues.,Deliver defect-free support for applications, hardware, software, and operations.,Interact with clients to provide quality service and solutions.,May support the design, review, and integration of application requirements.,Identify and address application, data, and cross-release issues.,Provide technical expertise as a reference on technology, trends, and processes.,Participate in projects to evolve infrastructure, deploy new technologies, or optimize the environment.,May deploy base infrastructure components and applications.,Maintain base infrastructure components and liaise with 3rd party vendors for fixes.,Provide technical support, including on-call support, for designated components.,Schedule and implement changes in accordance with change management procedures.,Respond to information requests and assist project teams.,May develop relationships with 3rd party vendors.,Be adaptable to scope changes and demonstrate resilience under pressure.,Monitor system lifecycles and performance.,Provide Disaster Recovery support.,Assess and analyze optimization opportunities.,Ensure effective change management discipline.,Assist in maintaining secure computing facilities.,Adhere to existing processes, standards, and guidelines.,Comply with Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and Business Recovery Plans (BRP).,Identify and implement process improvements.,Comply with enterprise technology delivery practices and project management disciplines.,Make effective use of cost management processes.,Continuously enhance knowledge in TD services, applications, and tools.,Keep current with industry and business trends.,May perform testing and support business case development.

Ideal Candidate

5-7 years relevant experience,Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate,Knowledge of project management practices,Experience with ServiceNow to create/update release records,Experience with JIRA to create tasks, sub-tasks, epics, risks and improvements,Coordination of troubleshooting efforts in deployments and leading issue resolution during deployment
