This role involves supporting the accurate and compliant administration of registered financial products such as RRSPs, RRIFs, TFSAs, and pension plans within Trust Services at National Bank. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions, managing high-risk transactions with tax implications, maintaining client documentation, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with branch teams to support service delivery and address client needs. The position also contributes to process improvements and offers exposure to high-impact financial operations, allowing individuals to build foundational knowledge in the financial industry. The successful candidate will join the Registered Plans team, benefiting from strong leadership, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Process financial transactions for registered and pension plans, including benefit payments and taxable distributions.,Manage high-risk transactions and ensure accuracy in activities with tax implications.,Maintain client documentation and pensioner records while ensuring strong compliance standards.,Collaborate with branch teams to support service delivery and address client needs.,Contribute to process improvements by identifying and sharing operational best practices.

Ideal Candidate

1-2 years of experience in financial services, banking, or administration.,Strong understanding of RRSP, RRIF and TFSA rules.,Knowledge of pensions, benefit payment changes and taxable payments.,Tech-savvy and comfortable adapting to new systems and tools.,A collaborative, detail-oriented approach with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
