Description

This role focuses on providing expert advice on home financing and creditor insurance to clients. The specialist will work collaboratively with RBC partners to address clients' full financial needs, develop relationships with internal and external partners (including realtors, lawyers, and developers), and represent RBC within the community to build presence and source business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrate understanding of the market, industry, and clients through discovery conversations to present home financing advice and solutions.,Acquire new mortgage clients to grow RBC mortgage financing portfolio and achieve strong business performance.,Develop and nurture relationships with key external partners and centers of influence for referral opportunities.,Ensure high quality credit applications and onboarding of every mortgage client.,Actively participate in market/community/area events and business development activities to expand RBC's brand and reputation.,Acquire mortgage clients through leads, advice events, and referrals to build a robust pipeline.,Drive sales results through proper planning and practice management routines.,Exercise due diligence to meet RBC, industry, and legal standards related to identification, verification, fraud, and anti-money laundering.,Demonstrated passion for exceptional client experience, providing advice and solutions.,Solid acumen of the real estate market & competitors.,Minimum of 2 years credit experience with solid networking capabilities.,Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently, be mobile, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Ideal Candidate

University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or equivalent qualifications (consideration will be given to individuals pursuing a degree)
