The Mobile Mortgage Specialist role at TD Bank focuses on cultivating and managing client relationships by understanding their financial goals, offering tailored recommendations, and providing ongoing portfolio management. Responsibilities include actively referring clients to other banking partners, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets for mortgage products. What We're Looking For

Identify client life and financial goals, provide recommendations, and manage client portfolios.

Refer clients to various internal TD Bank partners (Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, Commercial).

Conduct ongoing comprehensive reviews of clients’ financial circumstances.

Deliver a legendary customer experience and positive 'First Impression'.

Provide sound advice and contribute to customer experience improvement.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of the real estate market, competitive mortgage offers, and economic trends.

Proactively obtain expert knowledge of TD mortgage lending products.

Handle customer problems professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Build sales skills and credit knowledge, partnering effectively within TD's culture.

Work closely with District Manager for sales calls and coaching sessions.

Achieve or exceed individual monthly sales targets for mortgage products and services.

Promote TD’s image within the business community through participation in networking events and initiatives.

Support compliant development and implementation of reporting and processes, adhering to internal and external guidelines.

Understand the market and mortgage lending industry within the portfolio, providing value-added analysis and mitigating risk.

Exercise discretion in managing confidential correspondence and information.

Identify and manage risks, escalating high-risk activities.

Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency, implementing process improvements.

Adhere to internal policies/procedures and regulatory guidelines, staying informed on emerging issues.

Maintain a culture of risk management and control.

Complete all compliance training and attestations within required timelines.

Comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.

Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise, and participate in knowledge transfer.

Keep current on emerging trends and developments in the business.

Actively participate in the performance management process.

Contribute to a fair and positive working environment that supports a diverse workforce.

Participate in team meetings, employee surveys, action planning, and training sessions.

Assist others, provide training, coaching, and guidance as appropriate.

Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience working directly in a client-facing, sales, or relationship-focused role.
