The Mobile Mortgage Specialist at TD is responsible for originating residential mortgage business and integrating customers into the TD branch network. This role involves developing and expanding client and partner relationships, building a pipeline through referrals from realtors, builders, and financial planners, and providing comprehensive financial advice and appropriate mortgage lending products to new and existing customers.
Obtain residential mortgage business and place customers within the TD branch network.,Retain and expand client and partner relationships.,Establish mortgage development initiatives to target referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other centers of influence.,Develop and deepen banking relationships, providing appropriate products and services.,Identify client life and financial goals, provide recommendations, and offer ongoing relationship/portfolio management.,Identify opportunities to refer clients to partners across Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, and Commercial.,Provide ongoing comprehensive reviews of clients' financial circumstances.,Create a positive customer experience and deliver sound advice.,Support ONE TD by identifying and referring customers to internal Bank partners.,Possess comprehensive knowledge of the real estate market, competitive offers, and economic trends.,Proactively obtain expert knowledge of TD mortgage lending products.,Ensure customer problems are handled professionally and escalated when necessary.,Build sales skills and credit knowledge, partnering effectively within TD's culture.,Work closely with District Manager for sales calls and coaching sessions.,Contribute to achieving sales and business development objectives by meeting or exceeding individual monthly sales targets.,Proactively promote TD's image within the business community.,Support development and implementation of reporting and processes in a compliant manner.,Understand the market and mortgage lending industry to provide value-added reporting and mitigate risk.,Exercise discretion in managing confidential information.,Protect organizational interests, identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard activities.,Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency, implementing continuous improvements.,Adhere to internal policies/procedures and regulatory guidelines.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Complete all compliance training and attestations.,Comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.,Participate fully as a team member, promoting service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and participate in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments.,Actively participate in the performance management process.,Contribute to a fair and positive working environment.,Participate in team meetings, surveys, and training.,Assist others, provide training, coaching, and guidance as appropriate.,Act as a brand ambassador.
