Description

The Mobile Mortgage Specialist at TD Bank is responsible for identifying client financial goals, providing recommendations, and managing client portfolios. This role involves building long-term relationships through financial planning expertise, delivering excellent customer experience, and proactively identifying referral opportunities within the bank. Specialists are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the real estate market, mortgage lending products, and economic trends, while also contributing to sales targets and promoting TD's image within the business community.

What We're Looking For

Identify client life and financial goals, provide recommendations, and manage ongoing relationships/portfolios.,Identify opportunities to refer clients to Partners across Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, and Commercial.,Provide ongoing comprehensive reviews of clients’ financial circumstances and create long-term relationships.,Deliver a positive customer experience at every interaction, engaging customers in sales, service, and informational conversations.,Provide sound advice and contribute to the improvement of the overall customer experience.,Possess comprehensive knowledge of the real estate market, competitive offers in the mortgage lending industry, and economic trends.,Proactively obtain expert knowledge of TD mortgage lending products.,Handle customer problems professionally and escalate issues when necessary.,Build and exhibit strong sales skills and credit knowledge.,Work closely with a District Manager for sales calls and coaching sessions.,Contribute to sales and business development objectives by meeting or exceeding individual monthly sales targets of mortgage products and services.,Proactively promote TD’s image within the business community through participation and leadership in community and professional networking events.,Support the development and implementation of compliant reporting and processes.,Understand the market and mortgage lending industry to provide value-added reporting and analysis.,Exercise discretion in managing confidential correspondence and information.,Identify and manage risks, escalating non-standard, high-risk activities.,Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency levels, implementing process improvements.,Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, staying abreast of emerging issues.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Complete all compliance training and attestations within required timelines.,Comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.,Participate fully as a team member, promoting service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and participate in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments.,Actively participate in performance management and coaching sessions.,Contribute to a fair and positive working environment that supports a diverse workforce.,Participate in team meetings, employee surveys, action planning, and training.,Assist others, provide training, coaching, and guidance as appropriate.,Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.,Minimum 3 years of experience working directly in a client facing, sales or relationship focused role.
