Description

The Mobile Mortgage Specialist at TD Bank is responsible for identifying and addressing client financial needs, managing client relationships, and providing comprehensive financial advice, especially concerning mortgage products. This role involves active participation in sales and business development, community engagement to promote TD's image, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Additionally, the specialist is expected to foster teamwork, engage in continuous learning, and uphold risk management practices.

What We're Looking For

Identify client financial and life goals, provide recommendations, and manage client portfolios.

Refer clients to various internal TD Bank partners.

Conduct ongoing comprehensive reviews of clients' financial circumstances.

Create a positive customer experience and provide sound financial advice.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of the real estate market, competitive mortgage offers, economic trends, and TD mortgage lending products.

Handle customer issues professionally and escalate when necessary.

Meet or exceed individual monthly sales targets for mortgage products and services.

Proactively promote TD's image within the business community.

Support compliant reporting and process implementation, adhering to guidelines and regulations.

Understand the market and mortgage lending industry within the portfolio to mitigate risk.

Exercise discretion with confidential information and manage organizational risks.

Monitor service and productivity, implementing process improvements.

Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain a culture of risk management and complete compliance training.

Participate as a team member, contribute to knowledge transfer, and continuously enhance expertise.

Actively engage in performance management and contribute to a positive work environment.

Act as a brand ambassador for TD Bank.

Ideal Candidate

Professional role focusing on business development, customer relationship management, and/or sales advisory.

Expanded knowledge of products/services and key competitors.

Understanding of key business and customer drivers and processes.

Ability to identify referral opportunities of increasing complexity.

Sound knowledge of assigned customers' needs, the competitive landscape, and broader market factors.

Coordination of activities and timelines across multiple teams.

Execution of a moderately complex sales or account management process.

Ability to investigate and analyze possible alternative solutions.

Capable of simplifying information for customers and clarifying unique situations.

Minimum Education

Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
