The Toronto-Dominion Bank is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Purview Engineer to strengthen its compliance posture, ensure responsible data handling, and enable secure AI adoption. This role involves acting as a subject-matter expert for Purview's compliance and data security capabilities, driving policy design, operational governance, and automation across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
Design, configure, and optimize Communication Compliance policies to detect inappropriate, risky, or regulated communications.,Tune classifiers, thresholds, and review workflows to improve detection accuracy.,Partner with HR, Legal, and Security teams to operationalize review processes and ensure timely case handling.,Investigate escalations and provide actionable insights.,Administer Purview eDiscovery (Standard & Premium) including holds, collections, review sets, analytics, and exports.,Build defensible workflows for legal, regulatory, and internal investigations.,Optimize KQL queries and review strategies.,Support audit requests with reports, logs, and evidence packages.,Implement and maintain retention labels, retention policies, auto-labeling, and records management configurations.,Develop lifecycle strategies for structured and unstructured data across Microsoft 365 workloads.,Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, FINRA, ISO, etc.).,Monitor policy effectiveness and adjust configurations.,Configure and manage Microsoft Purview DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints, and cloud apps.,Develop and tune sensitive information types, trainable classifiers, and policy exceptions.,Monitor DLP alerts.,Leverage deep technology expertise to deliver tools, processes, and documentation.,Execute on Engineering strategy related to automation of build, test, release, and configure activities.,Partner with Operations team for integration with tools and processes.,Work with partners across Technology to identify and leverage synergies.,Act as an expert or lead innovator and agent of change.,Implement best practices for engineering and management.,Keep abreast of trends, products, frameworks, and applications.,Effectively manage stakeholder engagement and impacts.,Interpret client needs, assess requirements, and identify solutions.,Apply best practices to improve products or services.,Monitor and control costs.,Interact with governance and control groups.,Maintain knowledge of external development, engineering, and emerging solutions.,Proactively identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
