The role also involves reporting on work progress, ensuring planned tasks are completed on schedule, providing training to factory employees when necessary, and collaborating with external companies on projects.
Install, maintain, and mechanically repair equipment,Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdowns to ensure production targets are met,Execute tasks based on established priorities, equipment, and material availability,Perform inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment,Conduct failure analyses and suggest improvements for process efficiency,Communicate work and project progress to relevant personnel,Create reports and follow up on tasks,Ensure planned work is completed according to deadlines,Provide training to factory employees, as needed,Work with external companies on projects,Perform all other related tasks
Hold a DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) in industrial mechanics or a DEP (Diplôme d'études professionnelles) in industrial mechanics or electromechanics,Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field,Experience in TIG sanitary welding (an asset),Experience in basic machining (an asset),Basic computer skills,Flexibility and availability regarding work schedule,Versatility and quick learning ability,Good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, and ability to foster teamwork,Possess good priority management
