The Marketing Manager will join the Cards Marketing team at Royal Bank of Canada to support the expansion of the cards and loyalty business. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and business partners to implement marketing initiatives focused on customer acquisition, growth, and retention. The ideal candidate should be organized, adaptable, and able to lead within a matrixed organization to achieve strategic objectives.
Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans to meet strategic partner contract requirements and acquisition goals.,Execute impactful mass and always-on targeted campaigns to achieve business acquisition objectives.,Build trusted and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to foster transparency and efficiency.,Share creative insights and expertise to ensure brand consistency and accuracy in marketing communications.,Manage day-to-day marketing planning and execution, including ongoing partner relationship management, to deliver partnership business objectives.,Conduct consistent analysis and reporting to provide data-led marketing recommendations and drive future marketing strategies.,Support ongoing budget management, including estimate and invoice tracking, as well as detailed budget reporting.,Assist with partner activations to increase brand and overall partnership awareness.
University Degree (Marketing or Communications preferred),5+ years of marketing experience,Metrics-driven mindset with experience tracking results across digital channels,Experience in developing and delivering business cases and creative briefs, and managing creative process and timelines.,Experience in developing and launching marketing initiatives, including email, digital, social, and content marketing strategies, and evergreen campaigns.,Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.,Strong ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and across the organization.,Bilingual French & English (Nice-to-have),Previous marketing experience in the credit card and/or loyalty space (Nice-to-have),Self-starter who proactively brings ideas and optimization recommendations to the team (Nice-to-have)
