This role is for an Investment Services Representative within the RBC Direct Investing Contact Centre team. The individual will deliver professional, efficient, and knowledgeable service to clients via phone and electronic communication, focusing on identifying client-centric solutions, proactivity, problem resolution, and maintaining individual and team productivity. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proactively uncover opportunities to match customer needs and guide clients to Direct Investing products and services.,Work within specified performance metrics for all client communications.,Uphold a professional image of RBC and RBC Direct Investing Inc.,Actively promote the RBC Direct Investing website and mobile capabilities, identifying self-service opportunities.,Provide helpful, engaging, knowledgeable, accurate, responsive, and professional services, including prompt and courteous completion of trade instructions.,Understand and apply industry rules and regulations (e.g., CIRO, Provincial) as well as RBC policies and procedures.,Accurately execute client instructions within defined authorities and ensure clients can meet trade settlement obligations.,Ability to work independently with proven time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask.,University or College degree/diploma or a minimum of 1 year of relevant business experience in a client service role.,Driven to help meet clients' needs.,Strong English communication (verbal, written, and transcription), analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail.,Exceptional customer service and friendly, professional telephone skills.,Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.,Completion and maintenance of standing for the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) within 15 weeks of the start date, OR completion and maintenance of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification level 1 or any higher levels of the CFA program.,CIRO Mandatory Conduct Training must be completed within 15 days of obtaining licensing approval from CIRO.,Derivatives Exam must be completed within 35 weeks of the start date.
University or College degree/diploma or a minimum of 1 year of relevant business experience in a client service role.,Completion of Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification level 1 or higher.,CIRO Mandatory Conduct Training.,Derivatives Exam.,Prior completion of CIRE or CFA level 1 and Derivatives Exam (Nice-to-have).,Fluency in French (Nice-to-have).

37.5 hours/week; shifts may be required within Sunday 6:00 PM EST - Friday 8:00 PM EST (including overnights) and Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST.
Must live within a one-hour commutable distance from a Centre or Hub. Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts. Requires completion of specific regulatory exams (CIRE/CFA, CIRO Mandatory Conduct Training, Derivatives Exam) within defined timelines.
