Managing Director, Head of Internal Audit U.S. Capital Markets

This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing the Internal Audit function for U.S. Capital Markets, U.S. Cash Management, and the World Financial Centre (WFC) Branch. The position involves directing a team of internal auditors to ensure robust assurance and risk monitoring across the platform, while working closely with global audit teams and senior leadership to align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Manage the execution of the annual audit plan specifically for U.S. Capital Markets,Provide independent assurance regarding the effectiveness of risk management and internal control environments,Oversee and manage regulatory remediation activities and core assurance activities impacting the U.S. platform,Lead and mentor a high-performing team of auditors assigned to the business platform,Serve as a key point of contact for U.S. regulators to discuss audit-related activities and emerging risks

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree (required),Minimum of 10 years of experience in Internal Audit with proven leadership experience,Subject matter expertise in Capital Markets Audit,Prior experience managing relationships with senior leadership and regulatory bodies (e.g., FRB, OCC, SEC, FINRA),Experience working within a large banking institution,Nice-to-have: Advanced degree in business, economics, or finance; CPA or CIA certification
