KPMG's Tax practice in Saskatoon is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager for their Private Enterprise Tax group. This role focuses on helping privately-held businesses grow by providing valuable tax perspectives and strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with KPMG Partners on tax planning, manage junior staff, conduct tax research, and lead the preparation of tax returns, contributing to the growth of the practice.
What We're Looking For
Lead small and medium-sized client engagements.,Work with team members on client tax planning.,Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation.,Conduct and present tax research.,Advise on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, and compliance issues.,Review junior staff's work for accuracy and completeness.,Service client planning and compliance needs.,Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff professional development.,Minimum 5 years specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.,Professional Accounting Designation.,Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course.,Excellent leadership and people management skills.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Ability to research and write utilizing electronic tax tools.,Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.,Strong project management and organizational skills.
